CRIT WHITLOCK, Ag Data Services

Crit Whitlock, owner of AG Data Services, has been the creator and manager of the proprietary wheat tracking program that we use. This program has allowed us to map the fields and track the information in a database. The ability to review past data and track information in real time is an important part of our business. Crit has taken this experience and has developed several different tracking systems for different markets including the Non-GMO seed market that tracks beans from the field to the plate. Crit has also worked with organic farmers to get a record system organized for their field to plate system, giving the farmers the ability to get back to what they love to do, farm. This tracking system would also benefit those doing custom work.

AARON TRAVIS, Travis Enterprises

Travis Enterprises uses locally pressed oil from MWC managed sunflower and canola seed to produce Methylated Seed Oil (MSO). Because of the source oil qualities, the stick and penetration of the MSO is very effective, increasing herbicide absorption and effectiveness. This is just one example of “turn key” programs that are developed through MWC partnerships.

Clear Focus Hedging’s business includes independent farmers/brokers and uses futures and options to hedge grain and livestock. Mike has spoken at our winter meeting since 2018 and is a conservative and forward thinking broker who also actively manages a 2,200 acre farm.
